In BC, the school zone speed limit of 30 km/h is in effect:
Show Answer & Explanation
Correct Answer: B. Every school day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. unless otherwise posted
School zones are weekday 8 a.m.–5 p.m. unless the sign posts different hours. Summer and stat holidays are exempt. Visibility of children does not change the posted limit — it is time-based.
Why the other answers are wrong
- A.All day, every dayThe rule is school day hours only, not all day.
- C.Only when children are visibleThe limit applies regardless of whether children are visible.
- D.24 hours on school daysNot 24-hour — only 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
