How the G1 Knowledge Test works
40 questions, 80% correct to pass. There is no time limit. It is administered by DriveTest (MTO) for the G1 licence.
Structure: Road Signs 20 questions (16 correct needed), Rules of the Road 20 questions (16 correct needed).
What this mock exam reproduces
The same question count, the same sections and the same pass mark as the real test, drawn from the 391-question Ontario bank. Answers stay hidden until you submit, the way they do at the test centre.
Each section has to be passed on its own — a strong overall score is not enough.
After the mock exam
Your result breaks the misses down by category. Take those categories back into adaptive practice, then sit it again.
