Under the Highway Traffic Act, the difference between "stopping," "standing," and "parking" is:

Sign hierarchy follows these definitions: "No Stopping" forbids any halt (most strict); "No Standing" allows passenger loading only; "No Parking" allows brief loading or passenger pickup.
