Traditional mode versus adaptive practice

Traditional mode walks the Nova Scotia bank in order, by category, exactly as a paper study guide would. Nothing is reordered and nothing is skipped, so you can work through a topic from start to finish and know you have seen all of it.

Adaptive practice does the opposite: it re-aims at your weak spots and repeats what you miss. Use traditional mode for first coverage, adaptive for drilling.

The Nova Scotia categories

Road Signs (97), Rules of the Road (224), Parking (30), Emergency Situations (64) — 415 questions in total.

You can also narrow a run to questions you have never seen, or to just the ones you previously got wrong.

When to use it

Start here if you have not read the Registry of Motor Vehicles handbook end to end yet, then move to the mock exam once a category stops producing surprises.
